About the opportunity
As a CNC Setup Machinist, you are responsible for the preparation and production of precision milled and turned parts for customers of a variety of industries, and contribute immediately to the growth of our company.
What you'll do at Daedalus
  • Develop machining strategies and write NC programs using our modern machines (2021+ models).
  • Set up machines and perform first article inspections.
  • Mill and turn parts and take responsibility for the quality of our products.
  • Supervise our machine operators and collaborate to ensure steady and high quality.
  • Perform quality control using our high-precision coordinate measuring machines.
Who you are
  • You have experience in the production of precision machined parts.
  • You have completed an apprenticeship in the CNC machining / Zerspanungsmechaniker area.
  • You are fluent in English or German.
  • You are curious to work in a high-tech and innovative environment, in which software and robots are playing a vital role.

Als CNC-Einrichter:in bist Du für die Vorbereitung unserer modernen Maschinen sowie die Herstellung von Präzisionsteilen für Kunden aus den unterschiedlichsten Branchen verantwortlich und trägst unmittelbar zum Wachstum des Unternehmens bei. 
Was du bei uns tun wirst
  • Du entwickelst Bearbeitungsstrategien und schreibst NC-Programme für unsere modernen Maschinen (Baujahr +2021).
  • Du richtest Maschinen ein und führst Erstmusterprüfungen durch.
  • Du fräst und drehst Teile und verantwortest die Qualität unserer Produkte.
  • Du beaufsichtigst Maschinenbediener:innen und arbeitest mit ihnen zusammen, um eine gleichbleibende und hohe Qualität zu gewährleisten.
  • Du führst Qualitätskontrollen mit unseren hochpräzisen Bruker-Alicona-Koordinatenmessmaschine durch.
Wer du bist
  • Du hast eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Zerspanungsmechaniker:in oder einem vergleichbaren Gebiet.
  • Du hast Erfahrung in der Fertigung von Präzisionsteilen.
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch oder Englisch.
  • Du hast Lust in einem hochtechnologischen und innovativen Umfeld zu arbeiten, in dem Software und Roboter eine wichtige Rolle spielen.
