Als Head of Finance bei Daedalus mit Sitz in Karlsruhe übernimmst Du die Verantwortung für Finanzbuchhaltung, Finanzplanung und -analyse sowie Controlling und fungieren als Co-Pilot für alle Abteilungsleiter.

Das wirst Du bei uns tun:

Finanzbuchhaltung:

Du wirst die Verantwortung für unsere Finanzbuchhaltung übernehmen.
Du leitest unser Buchhaltungsteam und bist für unsere Berichterstattung an interne und externe Stakeholder zuständig.
Du wirst neue und verbesserte Prozesse einführen, um unsere Finanzbuchhaltung zu verbessern und sicherzustellen, dass die Datengrundlage für strategische Entscheidungen so umfassend und genau wie möglich ist.

Finanzplanung und -analyse:

Du prognostizierst die Finanzergebnisse und verfeinerst die analytische Unternehmenssteuerung.
Du treibst den Budgetierungsprozess und die kontinuierliche Kontrolle während des Jahres voran.

Controlling:

Eine der Hauptaufgaben unserer Finanzfunktion ist die Unterstützung der Abteilungsleiter bei der Entwicklung der analytischen Steuerung ihrer jeweiligen Funktionen. Du wirst als deren Co-Pilot und Controller agieren, um das Unternehmenswachstum zu beschleunigen.
Du unterstützt das Beschaffungsteam bei der Verfeinerung von Einkaufsstrategien und -richtlinien.
Du arbeitest an geschäftsbezogenen Themen wie Angebotserstellung, Zielsetzung und Budgetcontrolling.

Darüber hinaus unterstützt du die Unternehmensleitung bei Investor Relations, Vorstandssitzungen, internen Meetings und dem OKR-Prozess.

Das bringst Du mit:

Du verfügst über mehr als 4 Jahre Erfahrung in einer leistungsstarken Finanzfunktion
Du verfügst über einen starken analytischen Hintergrund
Du strebst nach operativer Exzellenz und hast Spaß an der Implementierung neuer Prozesse und Tools, um die kontinuierliche Professionalisierung einer Organisation voranzutreiben
Du hast ein gutes Verständnis für das deutsche Rechnungslegungsgesetz (HGB) und IFRS
Du sprichst fließend Englisch und Deutsch

As Head of Finance at Daedalus, based in Karlsruhe, you will assume responsibility of financial accounting, financial planning & analysis and controlling and will act as a Co-Pilot to all department leads.

What you'll do at Daedalus

Financial accounting:

You will take over the ownership of our financial accounting.
You will manage our accounting team and be in charge of our reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
You will introduce new and improved processes to enhance our financial accounting and make sure the data basis for strategic decisions is as comprehensive and accurate as possible.

Financial planning and analysis:

You will forecast financial results and refine the analytical company steering.
You will drive the budgeting process and continuous control throughout the year.

Controlling:

One of the core responsibilities of our finance function is to support the department leads in developing the analytical steering of their respective functions. You will act as their Co-Pilot and controller to accelerate company growth.
You will support the procurement team in refining purchasing strategies and policies.
You will work on deal-related topics such as quoting, target setting and budget controlling.

Additionally, you will assist the company leadership with investor relations, board meetings, internal meetings and the OKR process.

Who you are

You have 4+ years of experience working in a high-performing finance function
You have a strong analytical background
You strive for operational excellence and enjoy implementing new processes and tools to drive the ongoing professionalization of an organization
You have a good understanding of the German Accounting Act (HGB) and IFRS
You are fluent in English and German
