Als (Senior) Controller (m/w/d) bei Daedalus hast Du die einmalige Gelegenheit, die finanzielle Steuerung und Analyse des Unternehmens zu verantworten und strategische Entscheidungen als verlässliche:r Partner:in zu begleiten. Du trägst damit maßgeblich zum Wachstum des Unternehmens bei und treibst so Weiterentwicklung eines der angesagtesten Start-ups im Fertigungsbreich voran.

Das wirst Du bei uns tun:

Du bist verantwortlich für die Durchführung von Rentabilitätsanalysen und die Erstellung von Soll-/Ist-Vergleichen zur Unterstützung von Managemententscheidungen.
Du übernimmst das monatliche Reporting, bereitest wichtige Leistungskennzahlen (KPIs) auf und analysierstdie Deckungsbeitragsrechnung.
Du identifizierst Potenziale und Risiken und leitest Empfehlungen für strategische Entscheidungen des Managements ab.
Du analysierst Prozesse und legst mögliche Optimierungsmaßnahmen fest.
Du bereitest die Budget- und Forecasterstellung vor, bist an der langfristigen Planung beteiligt und prognostizierst die zukünftige Geschäftsentwicklung.

Das bringst Du mit:

Du hast ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Bachelor- oder Masterstudium im Bereich Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder verwandten Bereichen mit Schwerpunkt Rechnungswesen, Controlling, Finance oder Accounting.
Du verfügst über mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Controlling, vorzugsweise im produzierenden Gewerbe.
Du hast sehr gute MS Office-Kenntnisse, insbesondere in Microsoft Excel.
Du zeichnest Dich durch stark ausgeprägtes analytisches und konzeptionelles Denken sowie eigenverantwortliches Handeln aus.
Du arbeitest selbstständig und strukturiert.
Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

About the opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the hottest start-ups in manufacturing, where you will play an integral role in enabling and driving the company's growth. As a (Senior) Controller (m/f/d) at Daedalus, based in Karlsruhe, you will take responsibility for the financial management and analysis of the company and act as a trusted partner for strategic decisions.

What you'll do at Daedalus

You will be responsible for carrying out profitability analyses and preparing target/actual comparisons to support management decisions.
You will analyze monthly reporting through contribution margin calculations and forecast future business development.
You will prepare, analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and participate in long-term planning.
You identify potentials and risks and derive recommendations for strategic management decisions.
You analyze processes and determine possible optimization measures.
You prepare and contribute to the budget and forecast preparation.

Who you are

You have successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics or a related field with a focus on accounting, controlling, finance or accounting.
You have several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
You have very good MS Office skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
You are characterized by strong analytical and conceptual thinking as well as independent action.
You work independently and in a structured manner.
You have a very good command of German and English.
